I've always found Furby™ to be a bit scary, but in this configuration, what with them being furless and all, I find to be quease-inducing. On top of that it is also foot-tappingly funky, in the bad-ass DIY sense of the word.
Hello from my new home on Posterous (love that their name sounds
'british' unlike the flavor or color that I have to misspell every day
as an ex-pat)!
David Foster Wallace killed himself this weekend. I tried but failed
to finish his opus "Infinite Jest" but that never soured me to his
writing. I did succeed in reading plenty of his essays and other
random published work much of which affected me deeply.
It's always sad when a person commits suicide, somehow, perhaps
selfishly, it seems sadder when that persons thought processes had a
direct effect on you.
So anyway, now I'm going to send this email off and apparently that
will cause my blog to exist! How cool is that?
